Investigations on isolation and characterisation of unicellular cyanobacteria in Uzun Lake and Cernek Lake, Samsun, Türkiye

Isolation of unicellular cyanobacteria as pure cultures were carried out from the water samples collected Uzun Lake and Cernek in Kızılırmak delta, Samsun. Diluted spread onto a solid BG11 medium which was positively selective for isolated single colonies observed after incubation under continuous light. 20 composed cells selected isolates.
